Music video advised revised edits as follows : At 0.13 the cut is too quick from Sorrel to Connor. If you can lengthen the shot of Sorrel and dissolve or face to black and white to the shot of Connor this would be stronger. 0.29 lengthen the fade to black, the cut is too quick for the rhythm which has a melancholic tone.
0.38 fade to black, again the cut is too fast.
1.02 fade to black to smooth the transition and give prominence to the performance shots
1.17 fade to black
2.00 slow fade to white
2.32 slow fade to white and try to edit in the sound of the diegetic sea as the voice of the artist fades.
I suggest all transitions before and after performance shots of Sorrel are signalled by fades to black. The fade to white towards the end adds an illusory tone to your music video.
I suggest you do these revisions as quickly as you can then repost this cut to G321 Planning for me to validate.
Excellent work Alex and credits are great as of course is the cinematography and visual concept. Editing at present too jerky in places.
